WiSH's

Sat.06.December |
 |
At WiSH we are dreaming of a black christmas.
A christmas where evil shepherds with black sheep follow a dark star to a stable in Transylvania,
and then get down. You too can follow that star, young people, by coming to Gramaphone on Saturday
6th December for WiSH's 'nativityfestivity'.
There will be loads of asses but not many virgins. And certainly no wise men. But everything will be well gothic.
Join our evil elves Kath Harding and Kate Nunn in dirty Santa's grotto downstairs. They will be telling you why Rudolph's nose is really red and playing their best minimal, tech and techno. Very special guest GUY WILLIAMS (BLACK RABBIT/DTPM) will be bouncing you on his knee in an inappropriate manner. Guy has been on the decks solidly since 1993. He's played everywhere and done everything. The Hacienda, Ministry Of Sound, Heaven, Radio 1, Ibiza, House FM - he's rocked the lot to their very foundations. His own hugely successful promotion, Black Rabbit has and does hold residencies at Together (Turnmills), Bugged Out (The End) and has forthcoming dates at London's newest, coolest venue Matter. WiSH highly recommends Black Rabbit.
Upstairs there will be no respite with three black magicians to enchant you. Residents Sean Hewson and La Coop will be supplying the frankincense and myrrh with their usual mix of rock, pop, indie and electro. Maybe with the odd goth or christmas classic thrown in. But bringing the gold will be DJ PHILLY. DJ Philly is one of London's highest profile female djs. She's held residencies at Chinawhite, Fabric, Pacha, Ministry of Sound, DTPM, Kingly Club and Café de Paris. She's played many high profile events for the famous, the fabulous, and the just plain rich, including Paris Hilton, Johnny Depp, Black Eyed Peas, Alexander McQueen, George Michael and many more. Philly's WiSH debut will feature an exclusive set that will change the world so that New Year's Day will be the 1st January 0001 AP (After Philly).
If you want to see the MESSiah, get to the stable early.
Doors open at 9pm.
Optional dress theme: 'Reveal the gothic devil in you'

"One of the most successful alternatives on (and off) the scene. The place to be if you are uber-cool. Excellent attention to detail puts this night head and shoulders above the rest." - LondonbyLounge

"The atmosphere was lively, the club full and the DJ in full swing. Women of all kinds were in attendance, all ages, the dress code was jeans, jeans jeans teamed with the smart, the casual, the obscure and trendy. Promoters and crew were extravagently dressed in things that were shiny and hats and boots - it all looked fun and chic..." Paris B for Scene-Out.com

"WiSH have set the standard by promoting BTP at every one of their club nights in 2007, culminating in the dazzling WISH upon a STAR party in December..." - The Bollocks to Poverty Team
