| WiSH this month falls on American Independence Day (4th July). So, to celebrate this important day for our chums across the Atlantic, we are going to ignore them and hold a party at Gramaphone in celebration of Enid Blyton. Her millions of books encapsulate all that is good and bad about England and its attitudes; celebrating a mythical time when children could wander around on their own and the only concern was whether or not Mummy will have dinner on the table in time. Saturday will also be a big day out in London because it is London Pride. So rise and eat a hearty breakfast, have Mummy pack a hamper with lots of ginger beer, put on your Noddy hat (big and red with a bell on the end, filth fans) and climb up our Magic Faraway Tree. Together we can be a blight on humanity and have a jolly, gay time.
If the above has not already made you giddy with excitement, the following will: One of our Famous Five DJs, and our special guest downstairs (it’s nice to have a special guest downstairs isn’t it children?), is Kate Lawler. Yes, that Kate Lawler the one that is looking hotter than the very flames of the very hell on the cover of G3 this month. Kate is one of the smartest cookies that Mummy has ever baked. She’s one of the leading female DJs in the country, regularly rocking the UK’s premier venues and music festivals as well as her residency at Sankey’s in Manchester...
